Getting Old

For some reason (perhaps it is the immortality of the soul) I don't really feel like I'm getting any older. I don't think that I'm the only person affected by this condition, but birthday's roll around and I still feel pretty much the same as when I was 19 or 20! However there is something happening that is beginning to make me feel as though I might be getting a little older ...

That is the birthday (yesterday) of my eldest child. He turned 8 yesterday and it did begin to make me wonder if I'm starting to get a little old ... I imagine it will get worse when he beats me up a hill on his bike, or running down the street! However for now, I think I'm locked into my youth!
