That is the question we've been asking at Petone over the last couple of weeks. It is intriguing and you can answer it from many different angles. The conversation has centred largely around the Jesus revolution that saw Christianity commence. Amazingly Christianity was the first religion that had no temple. There was no special building or holy place in Christianity (well not for the first 300 years).
The first Christians understood that the church was the people. Collectively (and individually) people are the Church building that God is working on and living in (kind of changes Psalm 26:8 a little)! This leaves a question hanging that is:
If we (the people) are the church and not the building, how will this change our weekdays?
