Starting something

At a meeting last night regarding the Petone Plant, some interesting comments were made about how some people are being treated by people from the church they left. I think because of the journey N & I have been on we're a greater distance away so aren't so involved as to be directly affected by this horrific behaviour. We are still subject to the judgement of others despite them never talking to us or seeking to find out another side to the story ...

However I digress, and the point of today's blog is a(nother) quote from a book. Wayne Jacobsen and Dave Coleman wrote the book, "So you don't want to go to church anymore - an unexpected journey." To subtitle it, "an unexpected journey" is quite apt because the title doesn't really fit the actual book or the story they tell. However I've blogged about it previously and wanted to share a single quote from it today.

Think less about 'starting' something than just learning to share your life in God with others on a similar journey. Don't feed off your need to be more right than others, then you'll know more clearly what he is doing.

Personally I think everyone is on a similar journey regardless of whether we've already found Jesus or not.
