Sometimes we get all caught up in ourselves, our intellect, our understanding, our knowledge, and we drop the ball. It isn't that uncommon that also, with can return to running with the ball by simplifying things and re-focusing ourselves on the goal.
Andrew Farley in The N*ked Gospel uses a multiple choice test to sum up the message of Galations which can equally apply to us (especially those who are part of an established church). Here is the test:
Question 1: How were you saved?
A. by observing the law
B. by believing what I heard
Question 2: How do you expect to grow?
A. by my human effort
B. by the Spirit
As this is the case, why do we place so much emphasis on observing religious protocol? What use is it?
